HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Hiya... I'm sure that there are a LOT of noobs out there that would really like to put their creative minds to good use and make their own maps.. Are there any good tutorials out there that teach us the basics and 3DS Max onwards.. I'm not talking about makinga map using a "template" such as Blood Gulch, but a map from scratch?

I have many great ideas for maps but just don't know where to begin sadly:(

Please could somebody point me and possibly others in the right direction?

That's so primitive though.. It shows u a basic map and even that is hard to follow.. I'm sticking to skinning, lol
