I have gotten advice about ripping blood gulch files using hmt and i have hit a rut. I found the sand texture for blood gulch but it is in black and white compared to how its orangy in the game. I have tried to use photoshop to make it looks orangy but its still not the same. Is there any way to have hmt rip the texture with the correct coloring on it or would anybody be able to make a sand texture and grass to sand texture in jpeg form. This would be a great help to me. Thanks

rip? dont you mean "extract" and i think its grey cuz a shader gives the sand that color. I'm not sure.

Well yes i have figured that a shader gives it its color and i am extracting it. For photoshop purposes does anybody know what the exact color (RGB values) are for the blood gulch orage sand it.

That bitmap u found is the bump map for halo, its black and white so the program makes the lighter parts lower looking and the darker higher looking, they arnt really bumped but it just looks it, i believe the actual color is the map called levels/test/bloodgultch/bitmaps/blood ground. but i could be wrong
