Ripping Halo Models and animations for other things

Greetings to all...

Not sure if Im posting in the right board but here's my question anyways.

Can I rip the models, textures and animations from the pc version of Halo in order to use them in 3d animation programs?

Im planning on making a short Halo flick and I dont have enough modelling experience to make my own....so I figured just use the game models.

If theres a way to do this, please let me know. Thanks.

With HMT, you can extract models and textures, but not animations.

I once started an animation project with extracted things, but I need some more practice with Max before I try another big project.

RR is correct, but if u are going to make a animation ull need to learn to make bones for the models, cause it would just be horrible to make a moving mc with the standard model w/ no bones to work with.
