Gmax is being soo stupid

Im making my city map for halo and will export it. But when i go to make a Multi-Sub object the thing says theres an error and would you like to save a extyra.....i do...i try to open it again and it cant open. Cruddy peice of crap ruined my nice map. And this happenes all the time. Help.
