level designs but don't know how to map

well i wana start mapping and have the programs but i don't have any clue on how to start mapping... but here are 2 of my ideas for maps
this one i just thought would be kinda cool
my main one i wana make is this one

ok, there is a tutorial in the halomods.com tutorials page right at the front about making a level...look at that

To make new maps for Halo, You will need Halo Custom Edition, and the HEK (Halo Editing Toolkit), and a copy of 3dsMax (
www.discreet.com). Its quite a hard learning process (or at least it was for me) so be sure to check the tutorial section.

The first one has a nice concept and a simple design. I'll consider making it if I have the free time. Looks like a possible Covenant or Forerunners style map.

i wana make the second one by my self tho cuz i think it would be fun to make and a good learning experiance
