It could use some more detail but keep in mind the poly count. So not too many details. But other than that i think it looks good.

...The polycount on that should be less than 1000

The concept is nice, it seems to go with all the other weapons I've seen in installation_07. Here's my input....The handle looks a bit too small and extremely rounded, almost as if you used meshsmooth (if so, try the chamfering or connect tool instead). The clip will need alot of textured details, if you dont think the skin will be too good I'd say add some more details on the clip. The handle could use a little details. The body of the gun could have some small switches and stuff (maybe to switch from semi-automatic to fully automatic). I think the scope would look better as a circle instead of a square. The barrel could be a bit smaller, looks wierd when it's that fat. I really like the concept and feel of the gun though. If you do what I said I think it will turn out very good.
When you'r stumped on details, just imagine you found a real sub-machine gun lying around (lol) and picked it up, what would you expect to see on it?

I agree completely, except the thing that switches between semi and fully automatic is called a fire selector. It isn't a scope, those are iron sights. The barrel could be a bit smaller, but not too small. I'm speculating this to be about 9mm so, take a centimeter, and make the barrel that size in comparison to the rest of the gun. The clip needs more MODELED detail, and the grip looks fine imo, just too thin. The dissapointing thing is there is no ejection port, the casings just magically dissapear after being used.

Always model a weapon to be the best you have ever made. Use every bit of detail you have in you. Then scale down the polygons.
That's my motto. Do your best, ever, then simplify to good poly count. But always keep a save of the better one as well.

Sometimes I think details can make a gun look to crazy. I agree the sights could be better than that, but otherwise It looks nice.

I like the model so far, the ending model should be good.

There is only one gun in the world that uses caseless rounds. It is large and heavy. The H&K G11 is a pretty useless product because it is very complicated and hard to mass produce. Caseless ammunition is a thing of the past, it was developed 45 years ago in the 60s and no one has adopted it because it is no more appealing than case ammunition. (and was more expensive to produce.)

Wait, cooldude is falcon? Heh....never knew.
(I wouldn't of asked you if you used meshsmooth =P
Then just make the handle a bit bigger, imagine holding the gun, the handle would be kind of small.)

Looks good, the handle looks the best part of it to me, looks like it would be cool to hold but then again i have never held a real gun
