Hey....Well I just finished making a basic base model..probably for sniping in and gonna get it in my map..Once I re-read Crow Paths awsome bump mapping tutorial!...

awesome.....aybe you can put a ladder to the top and put a banshee ontop of it....its a good base for a banshee landing.....but awesome

Cool idea!..Im probably gonna add a ladder to the top (idk how the hell to do that) an add a platform with maybe a banshee or turret on it


**Update**
Okay so after thinking about adding a banshee or turrent to the top and having a ladder..I've updated my model...This time it has a ladder at the back of the base..I may add one from the inside later on and I've added a platform at the top which will have a banshee or turrent on top..Probably a turrent but I'm not sure at the moment..

that acually looks better....how do you make those kind of cool things.......so far i tried to make a little tree top sniper base:

If your having trouble with it..Ill help you skin it..maybe straighten up the edges but its best to try..thats how you learn...but if you get stuck I'll help..I just got my one in sapien..and relised only one of my textures work :(...Oh well and I have to redo the uvw maps..but oh well I can update that later...Just going to test it in game.

S**t...I got errors with collision models..2 edges were mucked up so when ever I play the map you go through the base =\...I'll have to re do it...Ill make another model first...

Does any one know how you make a model have 2 textures in CE? Cuz I tried and only one worked...Also how do you get grenades to work in Sapien?

and its not good...I like the bark part but the base is demented still and the roof has a stretched bitmap

edit^^^^: im still trying to get a ghost to work in CE........can someone tell e how to put aniations on a odified ghost?...i keep on getting errors....and its not a ghost...its a hover board with ghost markers

well is there a way to smmooth out a side...so the front can be nice and smoot?...while I wiat i will fiddle :lol:

Yeah the barkk texture owns...Heres a quick model of mine..too see how it works out..I think you just need to straight things up..and UVW map the stretched bitmaps, part from that looks good...

I would make your own new vehicle, and then animate it...Thats probably easier.

i edited the little pain thing and move a couple of vertex's so now i have a beter one:

well i did make my own vehicle...the hover board....but i dont know how to animate it and the tut says to just not animate...export the odel and markers to the animations folder too

Well, to make a ladder, you don't actualy need to model one (Like I wish Apoc had told me earlier!) Appearly its I think some setting like when you set teleporters...Just click ladder or watever, I'll try to work it out later, unless anyone else knows how? And wants to tell :P

P-S Anyone know how to find those damned edge errors inmax? I know its something about lines

Yeah, I tried that for open edges, but I don't think the tool error is that...Heres a picture of the tool error
