Map idea

I have 2 Map ideas but know idea how to make the maps. If someone wants to help me or here my suggestions then let me know.

1. I bombed out human bunker. One team starts in armory the other in the garage. Command center in the middle has teleporters to both areas. There are random rooms and of course a med bay. There are plasma marks everywhere and if possible: blood. Players can exit map area through hole in armory roof and garage exit however there are fires right outside and players instantly die.

2. Blue team has a convanant flag ship. Players can fly the ship and fire plasma cannons. There are dropships and sepheras (sorry about spelling) in the launch bay. Red team has a orbital cannon and can fire the MAC. There is no gravity in space so you can jump from the ship to the station if your aim is good enough. If you miss a dropship has to come get you. Conanant weapons spawn only on the covenant ship and so on. If MAC round goes through Covenant ship or vice-versa players have to find another route. There are no locked doors. You can explore the station or the ship if you want.

a lot of those ideas sounded scripted, which sadly isn't possible in halo ce. the zero-g jumping in space is cool, but i don't think it's possible to be able to change gravity, and for that matter, you'd need 'walls' on the map, something that would make open space tricky to create. i don't thtink fire is possible, and i'm not sure what the point of firing weapons at opposing ships is when it's a first-person shooter. you have some cool ideas and they sound very inspired by the books, but sadly it's just not possible with the current HEK. good maps with this tool set come from ingenuity within the boundries of halo, which can be pretty cool if you try hard enough and have something original.

I think this would be easy:....take a picture of someplace like your neighbor hood or the grand canyon or...thje one i want to do but stink too much to do it....DISNEY WORLD....we could play as mickey mouse.....magic kingdom is one base and epcot the other......sadly, popcorn costs 5 bucks :cry:

They wouldn't be scripted. They would look like something left over from campain. Open space would go on for so far before there would be an invisible wall and I've seen MODS that let you fly pelicans and stuff. A Covenant crusier would be a really big banshee.

sound pretty cool, yet it does sound sort of scripted and i like the disney world idea its just i dont want to have to pay 10 bucks for a churro and another 50 cents for the sauce :)

It would seen scripted at first because it resembles campain which is scripted. But the map I had in mind would seem scripted at first but once you started fighting there would be no script.

Only two people currently know how to script and that won't be changing soon.

So there is no script. It just looks like it because the maps would resemble campain visualy.

till now. no scripting. vehicles like covie cruisers have been tried, etc etc etc. there are people trying things similar but every attempt has gone down in flames. oh, and fire is possible dr. funk :wink:

Now for the map idea, well to tell you the truth it's not a very thought-out idea. Number one is possible but it's just not provocative of strategic thinking. If there are two players in a map, with the exact same marksmanship, and I'm really strategically smart, and he's a dumbass, I should win. In poorly designed maps, it's more luck involved.

Idea 2 is impossible. Simple. Impossible. Even if you could do the scripting, the amount of modelling and design phase just isn't feasable. Not even Bungie's map team would take up that project...
