problem with DDS and Photoshop6...

okay,
i got the dds plugin for photoshop 6, and it is in the right folder, but now for some reason whenever i try to open a bitmap that i extract using Ch2r all i get is a black box.

i got the dds file for the yellow hog mod, and can open that fine and see the bitmap, but i can't for any bitmaps that i extract.

Help??
