HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

can some body tell me......i downloaded a modded map, saved it to halo maps......now what? how do i play it?

btw any1 have msn add [email protected]

im assumin this is for halo ce

extract the rar or zip file and paste the .map file in the halo custom eition/maps fodler

then start up halo ce and it should appear in ur maps list

no i just have halo pc......how i get ce?

HaloPC? That is good sign from God for you In order to have HaloCE, as known as Halo Custom Edition, you need to have HaloPC, which you does. Here is the direct link to HaloCE for you to download http://halo2.filefront.com/file/Halo_CE;25771. It is similar to HaloPC but with enabled of using the custom maps. Download this and few haloce maps that you wished to play. Install it and use the serial number that HaloPC provided you on HaloCE.

NOTE: If you have winzip, uninstall it. It is garbage anyway. Install WinRAR from winrar.com. They are better stuff and you need it anyway to uncompress the rar files (.rar) into (.map).

to apply a mod for halo pc....

if u have ppf files apply them with ppf-o-matic
if its a .map file just replace your original map with the new 1

im having a problem using my zansibar mapp , it says that the file is corrupted and i cant start the game

do you have custom edition halo pc or halo trial cuz its only for halo ce

btw you don't need to post that in every thread
