New Map Modeling Team

I am curently looking for people who are modelers, skinners, mappers, and texturers. What I want to do is assemble a team that will be creating all kinds of stuff like buildings, cars, whatever you want that will help other mappers. Basically create a resource group that will make random stuff for other people to use. I think that by duing this we might be able to speed up the creation of maps, and other things like that. All credit will be given to whoever makes the stuff. Just thought this could help out some people. Thanks.

Well if I can find a tut of whats what on the skinning. I'll skin your stuff.

i can skin things if i have the bitmps but not in 3ds max cause my trial ran out I don't know if that is what you guys are looking for or not :?:

I am looking for mappers, skinners, mappers, and modelers. If you need programs like 3d max, that's no problem I can provide you with that. As a start I will post some models for people to have. their tag will be N.G.

im making a new team too so if u wanna combine thatd be cool i can model and skin and i have tons of ideas

What do you mean like a cracked version,well im not saying thats what your talking about just wanting to know and anyway i have gmax im learning how to use it and im pretty good with skinning and modding with hmt and sparkedit i have that scrypt for gmax so i can import .obj models from halo too.

Lol yea no kidding i was 10 years old thinking i could make a map once and i did......after 8 months of confusion alls it was,was a 30 ft long 40 ft wide map from a game i forgot the name its been awhile.....much more complicating now i can only get to stage 3 out of 6 of making a map.

map making is tough if you aim high. start low (but dont release it) and work up to a final (which you release)

Yes you're right, I have the cracked version that you might want to use. Most of the people that are on this forum they probably have cracked version too. The real thing is prety expensive. Well anyone want to join please pm me or aim me. I will be the 1st one to start this thing off. Anywhere you'll see [N.G] will give you a hint that the model was made by this team. I will create a sig that you will need to put right under you soon.

couldn't have said it better myself. and from experience... try and keep things simple. from now on i'm going to ignore myself. lol look at what i've done now... sure it looks nice, but it's taking too long.

Hey the place in your sig would make a fun small map.........just make ramps up to the top and secret ways to get up or down it would be small but fun.
edit:and maybe an animation of a small elevator that goes up and down it would be fun.
