i downloaded this mod for ce and i am really confused: they said there waws a way to make a single palyer level for ce but to use it you had to " bring up the console and type 'Mapname_(forgot what the map was called)
_something_something' " (the sentance quoted was not exactaly what it said)

wtf is that? what do they mean? ce is multyplayer only.... wtf?

Deserplat made by tiamit and kornman? the SP map well just right click on halo ce and go to properties now in target at the very end after the last " do exactly 1 ONE space then type -console it should look like this after the last qoute:
" -console

SPACE LOL
now hit apply now make sure you put the map in your Halo CE maps folder in My computer then program files then microsoft games then halo custom edition now start CE up and when you get to the main menu hit the button right next to the one key here's a little diagram:

Halo at the bottom comes up so type exactly this:
map_name desertplat

Lol then it will start.........if this wasn't the mod well at least you know how to do this lol

what? when i click properties a little box comes up then what do i do/ click on?

In the target directory it will look like this

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\halo.exe"

We want it to look like this

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\halo.exe" -Console

So all you type is ~Console at the end, with a space between the " and the - .

o crap now when i click on halo ce it goes to the folder not the game because when i typed in ~console

Try -Console
