Hi can someone make a tutorial for me on how to make a base cause i am trying to make a castle to go with my map but i get open edges and i was wondering if someone can make a video tutorial on how to do i t kirk if you read this please make a base tutorial i tryed to use the hek tutorial its on a website its not a video but i dont understand stuff on it cause he doesnt go into detale but if someone can do this thanks

Hey, try doing this:

Select your base, then right click then click "convert to editable mesh" go into face selection mode then scroll down to "edit geometry" click the button that says "create" then find your open edge (that is an edge that yuo can see inside of, it should look all black if you se the edge) click one vertex then go to another and click it then one more time click another. There you have a face. now do that to every other openn edge. (you mayhave to do this more than once on one edge).

Also, select all the faces of the stucture. Open the modifier list and find "STL Check". Select that then mark the bubble labeled Open Edges. click "Check" and it will tell you how many open edges you have. Press F3 to go into wireframe mode and you will see all the edges marked.

Or you just goto edit mesh.
Subselect: edge.
And their is this BIG button to say select open edges.
And fix them from their.

thanks you guys i guess i didnt need a tutorial and thanks for not flaming me im new the the hole thing but im looking forward in coming out with some new halo ce maps i got one more ? how to i conver halo ce maps to xbox like team nmp did thanks or make them a cache file thanks for all your help

well, it took a team, so i'm guessing it might take a bit to do that lol
