HMT PROBLEM

I Have a map file a made awhile back for a freind and my computer crashed and i lost all my source files . I discovered how to extract maps with HMT but any .map file i try to open dosnt work it says "INVALID MAP FILE" or "NOT A VALID MAP FILE" my freinds paying me for this and i really need it HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
