but ill give you a helping hint. get 3Ds Max from www.discreet.com if you have $1300 or get the trial. ull need some moddeling know how so ckeck out the tuts, and ull need some plugins too like james model importer and HMT and HEK.

you need HaloCE installed to instal HEK. HMT is a HaloPC tool not HaloCE.

In HEK there are a few programs

Sapien (adding weapons, vehicles, scenery to map--one of the final steps)
Guerilla (creating/editing tags)
Tool (compiling things together, creating the .map file, weapon basics, etc)
If you need real big help, try Kirks tutorials. First vid tuts made for this, and still remain the best for the job!

heh, i use geurilla to export models and bitmaps. it is good for that as well. i export the models in .txt format and use the james model importer to bring them into 3dsmax.
