OK, u may have seen my other topic but since then i have been playing with 3DS Max and have managed to create what looks like a reasonably good ramp. However, now i need to be able to place it onto a level and haven't got a clue how. I can't load any levels in 3DS Max so can't do it that way and am now stuck. I've tried to put up a picture in this thread but im not sure if its working, hopefully you understand what i'm on about. Plz help cos i spent ages making it and would i be annoyed if it can't be used.

P.S. Does n e one know wot happened to halohq.org

1. Fix your UVW's you might get an error.

2. Place a frame.

3. Link your ramp to the frame and export as a .jms

4. In tool type tool bitmaps.

5. Then make your shaders with the tags.

6. Then type tool model.

7. Then with your collision model (their is a tut on it)
type tool collision-geometry.]

Now make a scenery tag with it.

8. You'll be better off with the animeted scenery tutorial just not doing the animation.

BTW: You can't use a .bmp for your sig you'll need either gif, jpeg or png (that one sucks)

ok, im lost already. Wasn't sure what you meant by UVW so i skipped that one, didn't know what a frame was either so i skipped that one but managed to find out how to export as a .jms. The ones after that i wasn't sure about either but i am guessing they are in Blietzkreig. I don't even know what blietzkrieg is actually, is it something you get when you download HaloCE or HEK(cnt remember which one). Do you think u could right a step by step or possibly a link to a tutorial about placing objects in maps.

Also, the sig. still doesn't seem to be wroking.

Quote that text and remove my quotes.
If this makes it easier my info was NOT based off this tut I found everything out myself,
The tut: http://www.halomc.com/files/AnimScen.zip
And just don't do the animation.
