If you know where it needs to be less boxy (barrel for example) you can copy verticies from the current model and put them where you need them (Front and back) so it has more roundness, delete the faces that are in the boxy are and create faces from front verticies to back. That how i do it. Oh ya. If you get fliped faces just go to normals->flip (You probably knew that but just to other people that might read this).

once i buy my freakin microphone, i'll make "personalized videos" like a business

Tell me what you want, and i'll make one especially for you (depending on how far my abilities reach.

I'm shy (believe it or not) so i probably wont make many public ones (if that many)

Dont be shy! Be like me and dont care, if you skrew up in ur tutorial, don't restart it, skrewing up helps people learn, so they can learn from your mistakes. I try to skrew up as much as possible.

Also I can give you some hosting, and I record with camtasia studion I record the window, then stick it into windows movie editor thingy and save it as 'High Quality Video (Large)' and I dont record full screen, although it would not make much of a difference in file size i guess.

It's a start alright! I'm pretty new to modeling with 3Ds Max too. I'm used to modeling with Alias Maya but there aren't as many exporting capabilities as in 3Ds Max. So I switched...
