skinning

i made my first skin and when i went to save it, i saved it as what paint shop pro trial had already as DXT3 and when i went to inject the texture on HMT, it said that it had to be DXT3 or DXT2. what confuses me is it was DXT3. anybody know whats goin on?

Well try saving it as a DXT 1 bit or 1 bit alpha and it should work

would it work if i saved it as a 1 bit no alpha? i think that is how the program shows it.

tried it. it said that it was bigger than what the previous file was and it resized it. then it looked all funky during gameplay. the hog was like seethrough but u could see some of the mods that i did to it. any suggestions?

sometimes the shine of the vehicle takes away alot of the basic texture - like on a banshee, warthog or ghost
