im working on a mod that will add a special new machine gun to be used on the modded map. the map resembles OMAHA BEACH on D-DAY, June 6,1944. there are 2 sides to the map, one red base, one blue base. the blue base will have 5 special higgens boats use to move accross the water carrying troops. the water, if trying to walk through the water, unless the boats have landed at the red side, you will be killed instantly. red people cannot go onto the beach or at the opponnents side. the game is an assault game. the blue team must take the flag accross the water, through the barbed wire, into the red bunkers, and onto the reds flag area. red cannot take their own flag to the blue base. red scores by making sure the blue doesnt take their flag into their base. that counts as a score if the flag resets itself.the beach will have 2 bunkers, each having 2 machine gun positions in it to fire at the blue team when they land. the boats will have a ramp on it that opens/closes when 'E' is pressed. when open, players can enter it by pressing 'E'. when the ramp door opens, all the people inside it will automatically climb out. to break the barbed wire, all you must do is , if you can get to it, press 'E' and the wire will break in that area. you must walk a few flights of stairs to get to the top of the bluff that the bunkers reside on. when you do, the flag will be right there outside of the left bunker. the beach is fulled with obstacles to hide behind. when hidded behind them, you are protected from bullet fire only. rod guns, rocket launchers, or grenades can still hurt you. this map will be great because it is a total conversion of the playing style of the multiplayer reels on halo CE. ohh yeah, it ca only be used on HALOCE.

well do u have to press E? cus my controls are very strange and truly unique so when u say E does that menan just ur controls but will differ on what ur action button is?

E means your action button, so yes, it would apply to your configuration

i LOVE WWII and am a huge history buff. Maybe would could hook up and mix your ideas with my map.... of course the map is changeable.... so we should talk. I currently have the german base set up as a command bunker in the village. This map could use an overhaul though, I started it a while back and then went onto cote d'azur. anyways, send me a PM or reply here or whatever.

your ohmaha beach map is awesome! man if you were to add more texture to it, the higgens boats as a vehicle, and able to have the server to where over 50 people could join, that would be so freiken sweet! we should hook up later, i use AOL, if you have AIM or AOL, im me. maybe, you could send me a copy of that map and how to imput it into the game. your help will be a big help to us.
