i'm making a few levels, one of which is a city and consists of 100 textures right now. all of them are either bitmaps or jpegs, not TIFs. and most if not all do not have the power of 2 dimensions. do the files need to be TIFs? why? and is there any way around the 2 dimension thing? thanks.

yes they have to be tifs. Just open the bitmap or jpeg and go to file save as. might take a while with 100 textures. And i dont think theres a way around the power of 2 thing.
