I've got a great Halo CE map idea but I don't know how and with what to build it. So I thought maybe one of the many people that does know how to build ce maps can help me. PM me if you want to know what the idea is. I'll give you a hint though: it involves the covenent.

I downloaded it and everything but then i found out that I had to pay for it
which really sucks by the way. Is there anything else that I can download that is easy to use and is free?

STFU. It's people like you who are the reason that HaloMods has gone down the crapper. Flamers like you ruined this site, which was the center of the tight-knit modding community LONG before mapping was even possible. I'd know, I was here. Also, you are SO not helping us get to 1000 players and get a patch for CE by yelling at people like you just did. It's wrong, uncalled for, rude, and overall just plain stupid. On a side note. Master Chief1, Gmax is a free modelling program that you should be able to find for DL on
www.discreet.com I personally can't help you since I'm working on my own complex first map right now, but I wish you the best of luck on your first man!

hey i downloaded gmax, i became a member to some website like it asked me to do, now it asks me what my user identification code is. where the hell do i find that

It should have been E-mailed to you. It's been a long time since I've used Gmax (I use plain old 3DS MAX now), but I believe that when you register like they ask, you should get an E-mail with the identification code or something. If they don't E-mail it to you, log in to wherever they asked you to register, and search around your user profile or whatever and see if it's there....hope you can find it man.
