ok in halo 2 u can be an elite in multiplayer. well i want to be an elite in mombasa for ce. if you put in an ai elite,hex edit blue team with the ai elites number ,u should be an elite. But thats just a theory dont flame, but can someone help me wid dis

That won't work, you would need to do all the animations for the Elite, like reloading, meleeing, or you could keep the elite with MC's moves.

yea keeping it with the cheifs moves would be the best. although you should make some minor tweaks to the hands in first person mods so when u have the flag the hands are around the pole not thru it or not completley around etc.

o btw u might wana get doublefires permission b4 u mod his map. Just to make sure nobody gets pissed off at u! Cus thats hwat it is for me at school and trust me, it sucks! Get permission first! I like to ramble so dont mind what i say much... hehehe

when u hex it dosnt rplace the mcs mele but it would make it look like u r an elite , mele is still mcs hands so flag thing shouldnt matter

someone place a blue elite in mombosa 4 me and i will hex , it would also help if i knew the elites hex numbers. tons of ppl mod mombasa double dosnt care as long as u dont make what the team is making

he might care...just taht gave up hope on trying to prevent it...peopel can jsut be an ass and not ask for permission.

There is a difference between not caring and not able to prevent

they arent saying much about the features of new mombasa h2 mod

so adding anything could get you screwed!

You do know that you can only differentiate a few things between red and blue team. Just stuff like color change. Most everything else is hard coded (including the colors, I think). So that's really not possible. And:

Hex numbers? Have you even hex edited before?

doubl posted at gearbox an said it ,nitros said it too , theres a vid where they skinned blue and red team h2 style. yes i have hex edited, is easy jus find blue mcs 4 numbers and replace it with the ai elites, but there has to be an elite, prferably hidden

But the thing is, is that there is no blue MC, there's one white MC biped that has it's color changed based on the A input, which is hardcoded.

So you can skin the white MC to have H2 looking armour, but the teams are not different bipeds or models, so you can't have anything seperate between them (except very few things.)

EDIT: Sorry, it's not the A input; I think it's the C out, which isn't a function, but it might be completely hardcoded.

All I can say is, dont put a gay egg in it if you go through, and ruin the map. Thats what Steets of Earth City did, And guantlet. Several others too.
