Importing .mdl files

I downloaded the .mdl plugin for 3ds max, but when i try to import one, it says Version 10 is not supported! If you know anything about counter strike, does it not work with Steam or somethin?

no im trying to import an .mdl file from cs into 3ds max so i can use it for halo.

. anywho, you cant import .mdl, it's much more complicated than that. check the tags forums, i mentioned myself doing it when i was making de_dust for halo...
