HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

I just downloaded some of the new maps but i dont no how to make them work for HALO sm1 please tell me what to do!!!!!!!!

ut them into the maps folder in ur HAloCE Directory...then load haloCE

I tryed that i put them in the maps folder

are u sure its the "Halo Custom Edition" maps folder

i just found out i dont hace haloce where can i get it??

i personally like the clan-ep site cause its a direct download w/o signing up for anything.

for more info on HEK check around other forums.

when downloading new maps save to haloce "maps" folder. then use winRAR to "unRAR" the map file.

to get winRAR go here: http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

I personally like the fist one that does graphic and command line is best.

to unrar a RAR file just right click it and you should have the prompt to unRAR it.

If a prompt does not appear in the menu, go to where u saved winRAR and open it from there, then use the pathways in there to get to your haloce maps folder.

then highlight the file that is a " winRAR archive" and click extract to.. button.

then another window will popup. on the top at the pathway of where to save the new .map file highlight the last part[highlighted part is red in example:

i.e. ......./maps/new_mombosa_classic

then delette the the highlighted part and press enter.

then the unRARage should begin. then go to your maps folder and make sure there are 2 new_mombosa_classic [just for example] one as a winRAR archive and one as a .map file.

you can delete the winRAR archive just make sure you keep the .map file.

then you should be good to go. just be sure that when your trial is about to run out be sure to delete it and just redownload the trial so its pretty much like haveing the actual thing.
