3DS MAX 6 Defaults

Ive been trying to model a map for quite some time now... Just recently, my 3ds max 6 suddenly just stopped showing the toolbar at the top (with move, select and all that important stuff..) I can still model, but it is more difficult thanbefore because I can't unselect the move tool, meaning that if I want to move a lot of vertices, I have to click them 1 by 1 (which takes an awful amount of time) Soo I was wondering if anybody could tell me how I get the toolbar back up there.. btw, I've already tried going to file>reset and that didn't work. It is probably obvious, but I just cant find it...

yeah my 3ds max does weird crap like that too, like i was able to use my zooming abilities with my mouse alone, now i need to manually select what i want to do from a toolbar, and now the toolbar changed! so i don't know. Try playing around in the view menu

Ive checked out probably everything, and cant find it? any other help?

ummm maybe look for a restore defaults button, browse the help, maybe drag wherever the buttons are that u currently use to the toolbar

go under the customize tap and then under load ui or something like that.Then load ui sheme and than load discreet-light.ui
