HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

There are a few of us at http://www.stefans-mods.com trying to make a new campaign for HALO. Not HALO CE cause it doesnt have a campaign. The Campaign will be called PROLOGUE and will run from when John was a kid until Reach is attacked by the Covenant. Of course the game will be very large unless we remove some stuff. We are working on writing the storyline now. We are looking for some help from anyone who knows AI coding, texturing, and has a talent for designing new weapons. Hey if we finish, it will give us all something to do while waiting for Halo 2 to come out for PC!!!

halo1 was always meant for pc, which is why it came, but halo was intended for xbox only.

Actually the original Halo was originally for MAC. It was actually Bill Gates that wanted it for PC after it had come out for XBOX.

exactly, and he still wants more money, and he knows a Halo 2 for PC will do the job.

You guys got it all wrong sigh.. the oridganal halo was going to be an RTS for the pc untill microsoft bought out bungie and made them make it for xbox it was oridganly made for pc not mac!

I think bill gates would rather make all you PC only people buy a xbox just to play halo 2. Hmmmm $200 or $50 which one is m$ aiming for? And dont tell me your going to not buy a xbox and pass up halo 2?

Bungie officially stated on their site that it was originally an RTS for MAC and not PC. And for the PC, most PC's have a little something called Windows on them which is a Microsoft product.

He didnt get any money for my box it was used and im gonna buy halo for that and if it comes out for pc 2 copies for that

umm can we get back on topic here about the new single player campaign? aight person who made this topic i have intimate knowledge of all halo books havin read them all 3x as of yesterday ty very much.. anyways i cannot help with modeling or skinning or anything. what i can do is give you lotsa help with the storyline etc. mabye even do the voice of sam if possible... eheheh pm me if u need anything at all.

hey guys disreguard the pm i sent on eof u but i wont be able todo any voices. sorry.

They changed it to a shooter (3rd) before M$ took over. If you watch Halo:Evolution, you'll know. I want to play the RTS. And the 3rd person shooter, it actually had a working mirror.

Oh, and the RTS was based on the Myth engine (atleast the first build) so it almost had to be for mac first.

No more talking about which came first, MAC or PC , lets get back on topic with the new halo campaign (aka Prologue).
