ways to skin

is there a way to skin other than with photoshop? If so how do I do this?
Pretty much any graphical editing program that has some similarity with psp or ps should work well.
The only hard part is finding a dds plugin for your program.
There is a 30 day trial for photoshop at adobe.com, which i'd recommend because its by far the best program possible, or there is a 30 day trial for paint shop pro at jasc.com.
There's also ways to skin in 3d programs like gmax or 3ds, but you can't really customize the skins.
As for how you do it.. well.. you do it like you'd skin in photoshop. Paint shop pro and photoshop are pretty similar..
There might be a tutorial for psp in the tutorial section of the main site though.
