Shallow update this week, but that's not because the content isn't tasty. It's just that we've made great efforts at the geometry (Farsight really did a great job at roughing out the entire BSP) and we aren't allowed to show you guys yet (since this update is info only, next week a screen) and we're just as sorry as you guys not to be able to show you guys some footage of the new Zanzibar.

One great thing we do wish to announce is that NiTrOuSoXiDe and his team have merged with our Zanzibar-team. So no more "omfg this un is betta" "noez diz un is betta", but 1 map which is going to be awesome. They already started on Zanzibar, so we're already way further than we were last week (only the sniper building and the base).

So, so far for this short update, consider it as the silence before the storm...

did i hear right? you merged? holy crap if i heard right this zanzibar is going to be every single bit as good as the one in halo 2......good job guys keep up the good work you have our full support.

Sounds like one helluva team. Looking more and more forward to this.

and if they merged with you guys then what happened to the halo 2 version of new mombasa??

As far as we know, they're still working on it.

please please please dont have FPS problems like NM.....altho, i've gotten a little higher rate after fooling around some

ya, only some lucky ppl dont have fps problems, i'm one of them tho so i'm not really worried lol. i get 110 fps max in new mombasa least 60 tho. but i do pity the other ppl that have problems

Yeah guys just let the Zanzibar team take their time. I think I speak for all modders when I say when you rush your mod will suck. Take your time, guys. I'd rather have a nice zanzibar with halo 2 weapons, then have an assault rifle with a poorly made scope.

We have the Battle Rifle in-game as we speak (including the incredible FP-animations JamesD made), and all I can say is that it looks uber-sweet.

Yeah maybe you could, uh, slip us a pic of it in ur next update
