first time model

yea i'm new to the modelling thing, around 3 days, recently me and some friends on teamspeak chatted about a rifle we had in mind. being as they didnt want to make it, it attempted to. heres all i have so far. its the scope.please dont flame guys

yeah..probably too many polies just for scope...and he cant render because it is gmax...prett good though...not awesomely awesome yet

Holy crap, thats too many. Guns shouldn't be 3k faces... I'd say Vehicles can be up to about 4k. But a gun should probably be no more than 500...

thats bull crap
guns can be up to 3000 pollys
the scope looks good but if u make a gun to match it will definitely have to many pollys

ok, so 3k is too many, but it works? i guess....
whats too low? or is there such thing as to few faces?
