Finish a new model/mesh? Got something you're working on? Finish a new map? Here's the place to post it for feedback and whatnot.

I completely understand. The base still needs a lot of architectural work.

The road IS meant to be attached to cliffs.

Thanks I'll see what I can do about the style of the objects versus the style of the map.

Perhaps have some big structure with a massive hole blasted out of the wall, to get the best of both?

Maybe you could put like blown up hogs or something on the road.

I'll see. I'm not that good with making vehicle and weapon models.

But yeah I'll definitely think about it.

Would anybody like to see a glass roof on the base? I was planning on it.

Sure I was thinking of a cliff side base (other than the one I'm already making).

Thanks for the suggestion :D .

*worships* :o I'm impressed, maybe have a bunker thing along a cliff wall that the road goes through.
Sig over 3 lines.

You'll need to add lots of objects on the bridge, ie. cars, buses, signs, etc, to provide cover. That will make it awesome! I'll help you model the stuff if you need help with it.

That would be more than MUCH appreciated. :)

I'll try my hand at recreating a damaged ghost because that is a very small object and doesn't have as many parts.

Again, thanks for the suggestions!

Anybody have any comments on the new base design? Or was that all good?

That was going to be a suprise.

Oh well. I might also mention that I will make a bottomless pit in one of the cliff wall bases (or was planning to [and according to the vote I will do or not do that particular feature]).

Sorry, I meant Midship lol. The one in Midship isn't exactly a sniper tower, but I'm thinking maybe take something like that and make maybe an entire base out of it.

I don't think I could make a base out of that let alone find how to integrate it would the rest of the geometry. :(

Sorry, maybe next map.

Thanks :) .

So, guys, what base do you like better?

I want to add them to the level geometry and as soon as I do that I will post some pictures of the entire level (so far).

I love bottomless pits. They're part of what gave Halo it's creepy and surreal sort of atmosphere.

Sweet.

Which base would you like to see in the map?

The first, probably. Less open to snipers, the second is like a great big sign saying, "LOL, SNIPE ME!"

I forgot to mention that the open one would have a turret.

Looks like you have some nonplanar faces around the top...

I look like that all the time, lol.
