equinox, the smooth tool is an illusion, it doesnt really smooth the model, meshsmooth smooths the model.

and that adds a shitload of faces

yeah, but i figured out something. The smooth modifier, exists in the halo rendering engine. (i tried it out) my butt looks like its 80 polygons, while its only 4
