Creating ppf

Huh?

i created a mod, with some sick textures, and i injected them, but when u try to create a ppf patch, it says - file sizes not the same, and doesnt make a patch!!! Help

I had the same problem and then one day it just worked, I have no clue how but I think it had something to do with where the original file is located, sorry I can't be to much help.

ye but i done this before and this hasnt happened, and why is it bigger now? I only changed ground and veichles!!!

Well how I did mine was copying the original bitmaps.map and opening the modded and original in a hex editor like hex workshop, then inserting bytes into the very end of the copied bitmaps.map until the sizes matched, then you just tell PPF studio to use the copied bitmaps.map as the original and it should work like it did for me.

Ye, for some reason, if u make a new bitmaps.map file and copy exactly the same textures into the new bg, it works, ??? :wink: ???
