Modeling and Skinning Help!!

Hey im new to halo modding and skinning and i need a little help
how do u skin and does anyone kno how to insert u own models into halo cuz im not bad at makin models in 3d studio max

u cant put in ur own models yet and the rest just search the forums ull find all the tools and plugins ull need. this question is asked and answered 10 times a day dont worry ull find what u need most likly any question u can think of its been asked and answered before just try to do a few searches first before u post. thanks
