Modeling
I know this is the wrong place, but I don't know where to post this so please excuse me. I downloaded some models from this site, and wanted to know how to apply them to my mod on Halo PC. Please direct me to a tutorial. I am asking here also because I searched but couldn't find an answer so please someone help. THanks
Its simple really:
1. Open up hmt and open up the map you want to inject the model into.
2. Scrool down until you see the tag [mod2] until you see a label that says "models".
3. Click on the [mod2] tag and it will drop down a list of models in that level.
4. Find the model you want to replace with a new one.
5. Click it and a box will say how many models there are in the model.
6. Click on the correct model in that model tag and click inject, it will open up a box where you can browse through your computer with, browse until you find the new model.
7. click it and click open.
8. click save and you are done

injected models for mods need to have the same number of vertexes/indices as the original (i'm not 100% sure why, but it probably has something to do with animations and model orientation).
that model might be only useful for a halo CE map
