Finish a new model/mesh? Got something you're working on? Finish a new map? Here's the place to post it for feedback and whatnot.

can some one help me in undoing what has been done

Post by demonmaster3k »

i had a map, then i forgot the number one rule for any pc developer-- i didn't back up my files, then i accedentially deleted my source files and tags for my map. now all i have is the map, but the problem is that i protected the map the old fasion way-- and when i try to extract the files onto my computer, it said invalid destination directory, could not create folders.
then hek +exited out due to exception....

can someone help me solve this problem?

And how do we know you're not lying at that you really just want us to think it's your map so we spend days finding out a new way to hack a protected map and then use it to hack a map that isn't yours?
*end conspiracy theory*

Im going to have to remeber that. It looks like you took a while planning that on someone.

I advise you to write that down, and sell it on eBay.

there are some programs you can get that can undelete things. when you delete something off from your computer it isn't deleted but marked to be over writen. as long as that hasn't happend yet you should be able to recover it. im not sure what all of the details are. you might want to try googleing something like "file recovery program".

edit: i got bored and googled it for you. these are the first 2 that i found.

Noob is such an immensely overused word.....

Just PM a moderator or administrator and ask them to lock it for you.
