I finally was able to put rims on a wart but I want to take it to the next level. would I be able to put a spinning rims animation like this?

unfortunatly i doubt this will be possible, when the tires are "spinning" the bitmap for the wheels change to a blurred picture of the original wheel bitlmap, so there isnt really an animation for it to begin with.

or just create a basic animation for the warthog. Which is when not moving u have spinning hub cabs. Simple as that

uhhhh u cant put that animation of it into halo even if he did so theres no point to that.

why can't you?
Delete some vertices from another part of hte truck and replace that with the rims and I think it would look really nice

u cant because one u can only import the model, not an entire animation for it, and also you cant delete any verticies without have problems injecting back in.

I was thinking more along the lines of converting an animated .gif to an animated .dds

Or you could use MIP MAPS out of Photoshop, which is basically (if you don't already know) where you edit the image of something from distances. So as you move closer it changes (rims move to the right).

but then u could only see them spin when ur running backward or towards tehm and it would be really slow and not even get a full rotation.

there is northing u can do to tha bitmap to make it have animation but u can prolly mod the tires to keep going when u stop for some nice lookin stop and go rims.

this is dome but u could probally get the affect u want if u could do something like this to the rims
