Perfect 3D renders with 3ds max textures and all.

Ok have good models(thanks MaCeGaC) but textures are always messed up.

ok, after messing around with the textures and trying to render good 3d models of master chief and failing I decided to look around a bit for advice. What advice I found was mostly incomplete. Even the MaCeGaC tutorial did not work for me(the one posted on the main page).

Then I saw something in the UV unwrap, the data was imported but not correctly.

If you split up the uv's into a quad. like in the picture you'll should be able to see that things are messed up. The Order should be:

Quad 1: Top Left
Quad 2: Top Right
Quad 3: Bottom Right
Quad 4: Bottom Left

You can clearly see the long overstretched lines linking the cords. basically just select all the cords in that quad and move them back to it's home quad, lining up the cords with the bitmap under it.

your pics dont work, and from what i have read if im understanding correctly this has been posted a couple times before, thanks for the input though, the topics are most likly far down the list and some people probably have not seen it.

hmm, pics seem to work for me(cleared the cache and all)?

Well, I was just going by the only turtorial listed for this kind of thing. And nothing in that one spoke of anything about adjusting the uvmap.

Any exsisting topics must rather well hidden, or I'm just stupid and can't search very well.

Anyways, hopefully someone will find this informing.
Anyone else can't see the pics?

Please no private messages about sending the 3ds model of a fully skinned model. You will not get one, period.

Everyone can easily do this by themselves, besides I can't legally distribute them anyways. You'll be more proud of yourself when you do it on your own. :P
