I need some help with exporting my gmax file to .jms

Finish a new model/mesh? Got something you're working on? Finish a new map? Here's the place to post it for feedback and whatnot.

well from the picture in the background i can see that u dont have materials assigned to ur structure. u need to do that. hope chimp works for u... didnt for me said i didnt have the feature to create files..............

i got something like that, but thast cause my model was like 55,000 polys ya right scaled it down to 20,000 then it worked fine
and sureshot could u like send me the chimp and gmax that u have cuase maybe that will work for me

Anyone got a master cheif model for Gmax that i can use to scale things to size?

for the master chief model download james gbx importer. not sure where it is but i think its on this site. its pretty self explainitory

No, just download the HEK (I'm assuming you don't have it), open up gmax, go to customize, units setup, and set it to generic units. Next, open up the HEK, go to player statistics, and scroll down to find the MC (master chief) dimensions, I think there are like 30 wide, 70 high, and 20 thick (those are just rounded off to the nearest number) now, just make a box in gmax, and go to the modify tab on the command bar, and copy/paste the dimensions in the box's dimensions. Wallah. You now have a scale model of the MC.

thx guys uve been a great help, and yeah i got HEK.

what do u mean by go to HEK and open player statistics?? u mean gurilla?
