Am i able to map (not what your thinking)

i have a pal modded xbox with halo (of course ) and i want to map for it. But before i download the HEK tools i want to know if it is possible to create custom maps for it without actually have haloCE on pc.

And if so does that mean i have to create all the original models myself or have to download them, or do they are they already there?

I dont think you can make a costom map for the (Pal)xbox.But people are working on it.

but can i map for a ntsc xbox without having halo on pc and then just change the hex names from that 01.10.227.34508762 or watever to make it work?

You cant make a map for anyversion of thr the xbox.I think you would have to make it for Halo CE first.Then convert it to an xbox map.And again,some people are working on doing that.
