As you might have seen in the last weekly update, I included a little screen of the Work In Progress model of the Energy Sword. We've made tons of improvements on the ES (Energy Sword) this week, including the energy texture. The handle texture was only available on the first person-model in this build (due to rushing of the Update-beta), but will change in the next build. As we could experience, the ES was strong. Maybe too strong. It was exactly like the E3-one (which isn't a bad thing, because the E3-one scored with everyone).

The level isn't complete (let's say, not even started) without the actual geometry, and we've made some enhancements on that part this week. Basically we pasted the sniper building to the base, next week the windmill will have to suffer a link with those two builds (and quite possibly the first build fully textured). cold_Fusion has started on the Warthog Rocket Launcher and finished the Battle Rifle, so we need to make textures for quite a lot of weapons in the next couple of weeks.

When's it going to be out?
Well, I can't say much about that, but at the rate we're working now, the geometry and the mod which goes along with it (including the sword and the custom vehicles/weapons) should be done in around 3/4 weeks. In about 2 weeks the level will be done (the geometry), but it will need heavy tweaks before we are actually ready. For example, in this build, the way up to the second floor in the base at the front gate was too steep, so you couldn't climb it.
Textures were not even thought about for this build,
Lined up for next week: First textured build, more weapons in-game, more of the BSP ready... And maybe some surprises.
