im at school and didnt DL it yet... but wats so special about it? is it different from AIM or MSNM... also, for ppl who want to talk online while playing halo... u can use a app called Ventrilo (search for it on google, can't remember the site). I recommend it for ppl who have a really good broadband connection cause it raises ur ping on XBC like a p2p app

Yeah I also use xfire its pretty handy for my clan so if they're in a game I just join in automatically. Without looking for the game.

It's pretty good, but after a while, it starts to crash alot(atleast for me. None of my friends have said anything about it crashing)

I've had it.. Since they talked about it on TSS.

1. xfire == really fucking old n00z. I mean like months.
2. Excaliber... higher ping != good
3. xfire == IM client with the ability to launch games and auto-join a server your friend is playing in. its not that amazing. frankly, I find better use of my time in such things as Skype.
4. GSA == really horrible. but if you're sticking with it, please remain doing so so we can laff at j00 :\

Very good program. Its really helpful for when you wanna play against a friend but they are already online. One click and you are in the game. Nice thing to have.

well, i guess maybe. but still, do you have to play with your friends all the time? why not make new friends (and enemies)! just Dubya's 'you are with us or against us' statement!
