Miss the good ol' days? Want them back? I present to you, the first HMA (Halomods Archive).

I've just compiled an ENORMOUS archive of the Halomods User Forums. You can view FULL pages from well over three or four years ago. And I will also update this thread with a complete archive of the Files Forum as soon as I get it uploaded.

The HMA - UF archive contains almost 20,000 full pages from the old forum, all available for viewing. You'll never run out of stuff to look at. It's great to look at old topics, posts, people, threads, pictures, read old discussions, etc.

The archive is over 1GB when unzipped, so make sure you have enough space for it. Once it's unzipped, just open the folder. You'll see thousands of files labeled for the pages they represent (profile, index, viewforum, viewtopic, groupcp, memberlist, etc).

The files should be in a format that your computer does not recognize. Just double-click the files and select your web browser from the program list. There you have it, the archived page should be in your browser.

Have fun with it.

This should be fun to check out. I'll have to do it when I get home from classes, but I look forward to this.

Thank you!

... That's insane. I will forever love you for this. I was more of a files user, so I especially look forward to that, but I still had some good times at the Users as well.

/downloads.

Cool. Even though I wasn't a member back then, it might still be cool to look at.

Is it worth the download to see myself being a noob back in the days where I was asking for help on the user forums?

I'd be too scared hehe.

Anyway, nice work! That would have taken ages!

Both User Forums and Files Forums archives are now available for download. :)

If you get a message that says a file is temporarily unavailable, just try again.

Open the index as a webpage. The computer will be able to browse them.

It's hardly even worthy of being in here in my honest opinion.

A lot of the content is still here. The merge didn't wipe out an entire board. Basically you're just offering a downloadable version of Archive.org. I commend you on effort, but I see no practical application to this. Perhaps if the threads and such were compiled into a phpBB database that could be loaded into a true forum structure, it would be more useful.

I think you should've uploaded the whole thing to to website so no download is needed and you could just put a link on the homepage to view it
