XNA is a software developing program. I believe it is being used to make Halo 2. XNA has the capability to make games for the XBOX and PC at the same time. Which means...

I sincerely doubt it... Bungie would stick with what they know.

Lol, idiot. NO WAY IN HELL!!!!! If they did this, they could mod Halo 2 on PC, possibly making a game loads better than Halo 2. Halo had 2 years before PC.

Hey Sharkface...What are u talking about? please do us a favor and make sense....

How could they make the game "loads" better if its the same game, without any modding software....Plus the mods would be by us, not by bungie or anything so it would make a good learning experience and help us make some awsome mods to it.

As for the 2 coming out at the same time, As a non-xbox-owning person, I can only hope and wait....

U no how it took Bungie a long time to make Halo 2, and right after Halo came out on PC, many Halo 2 things are modded? Well, anything new Bungie does for Halo 3 might take them years, but only a few weeks for modders. Catch me drift? It easier to mod a whole new Halo 3 in a solid year of work, while Bungie spends 2 years and 5 million dollars, and what if the modded game is better???? Bungie could be digging its own grave if it did that.

not!

xna is the software in developement being used for xbox 2 most likely, M$ is also hoping to use it in pcs, its supposed to allow for multiple processors(the xbox will have 4 or so and the ps3 8 and some pcs are starting to have muliples(apple g5 i think)) to be used to optimize a game speed and overall ease of programming, it has nothing to do with working software to fit pc and xbox at the same time (though similar structures might allow emulators to do it)
currently pcs are not xna style they are x86 and so is the current xbox, thats why its easy to hack

so before you go running ur mouth off read into things a little better

not a flame here , just gettin facts straight

damn it equi

I think that it would require new hardware. so they would have to release Xbox 1.7 (i have 1.6) that had the new hardware...

The direct port of halo to the pc was made very shortly after halo was released for the xbox. Of course this version of halo pc did not have the multi FRG, the new levels, multiplayer, the flamethrower, etc. It was actually quite neat. My freind got it a little while after halo xbox come out. He got it from some online Japaneese store.
