Well for the past few days it has been in discussion to change around the ranks of the staff a bit. The reason behind this is to give us something to call our own and since we are a Halo modding site, we decided something more Halo related was in store. As such we have changed the ranks to the following:

Moderators = Lieutenant
Junior Admins = Captain
Admins = Admirals
Grenadiac = Fleet Admiral (5 star admiral)

At the moment we consider this an experiment, similar to the Arbiter program, if we see that too many users don't like it, or are confused by it we will change it back. Please discuss.

If anything, most of us normal users will recognize user ranks by name color, not the rank.

Might confuse some new guys...but oh well.

meh....i usually first look at the colors, green, red, and blue... and i know your names also...so this might be a little bit confusing. Maybe if you could incorporate the old colors it would be easier, but then give grenadiac a new one, like white or something. But this is worth a try.

Uh, the names are still colored. Also, white on white/light blue background?

For those who perhaps are not aware, the ranks chosen in this expierement are actual Halo related ranks. Master Chief was in the Navy, and thus the ranks chosen are Naval officer ranks, with their corresponding insignias for avatars. Pretty kewl me thinks.

What about the remaining arbiters?
Shotgun being Masterchief! (Even without any moderator powers that'd be much kooler than SOTW winner )

Wow, honestly. This is one of the worst decisions I've seen this website make. I hate to say website, since it fully associates Grenadiac with this shit decision. Why not just keep the standard that nearly every forum uses. This forum doesn't need to be special. The staff doesn't need to be special. They don't need special little titles, or shiny badges. I don't understand what was wrong with the titles before? They had a single job to do, inform. And that they did. Don't fix something that isn't broken.

Good point tural ^^. I wont forget him.. Now back to business. I agree somewhat with veegie but I like the whole Idea that moderators get special stuff that normal users feel alone thing. Makes us feel like dirt jk.

I agree with Veegie, completely. However, I do want to conratulate GTAF, Tural, and Ketchup on their well deserved 'promotions'.
