I know someone has already asked this question in here, but I search and can't seem to find it; but I am not too bright either.

I was wondering when HEK (Halo Editing Kit) will come out? A month would be fine, but if you know of a date or near by that would be great.

the way u had set up that topic i thought HEK was released and i got so happy, damn u bastard.

unfortunately, microsoft testers are taking for ever.
they are moving as fast as bill gates can run, which may i add, is not very fast.

any way yeah no one really knows yet the closest you can get to a date is in the recent faq they did on it i foregot were i found it but its there try bungie.net the gearbox people said it was last month be we all know thats not the case.

I have a feeling it will be out before early next month.

The testers at Microsoft are probably having too much fun with the HEK, they are probably making their own levels and playing them and all that and thats why they havent released it, they want to have all the fun lol.

I have a theory on this... although its just a theory...

GB planned a HEK before all the halo hacking began... bungie set the release date for halo 2 before halo hacking began.... get my point?

If the HEK doesnt come out by the end of this month...I will jump on the Ut2k4 pre-2k5 mod bandwagon. Thats how desperate I am.

no!! dont cross over to the dark side!! I know this thing is taking forever to come out but it is supposed to allow you to do almost anything with halo and just as many that are pissed off because it isnt out yet would be pissed because its buggy

no no no no. That is what it wants to PLAY WITH on your hard drive. The download is NOT that big.

Yeah I know. we can do at least 20 to 40% of the things in the HEK with HMT correct? and HMT is like 16 megs correct? So even with the model editors and stuff at the max it should be around like 150 to 300 megs.

Correct me if I am wrong.
