it all works, but still that page is total nOOb. throw some tables, links or SOMETHING. get rid of the BG color changer too, just make it a nice color.

2.)it is my first site
3.) i made it all with notepad
4.) if i had frontpage i could make an amazing site, but i dont yet so it doesnt matter
5.)ill add some more stuff to it soon

I'm working on a site for my first time, and its not up on the internet yet...but I've been working on it for a week and it looks better than that. I havn't even used any links or crap.

Iam curently adding to parts of the website . Also remeber i started coding html and javascript last week , and it was made without the aide of Microsoft Frontpage .

I started just doing HTML a week ago without microsoft frontpage as well. It's just me, notepad, and photoshop....

I happen to like the site...Very text-based...No glits, no glammor, straight to the point...I'm not a fan of some of the java script stuff, but for a first website, it's fun to mess with new things, see how they work...Find what you like, and dislike, what works for you, etc...
And as for the rest of you...Web design doesn't come easy to most of us...Not all of us can be masterful artists...Frontpage is popular for a reason...It makes your life easier if you don't want to do things the hard way...Just because someone uses a WYSIWYG editor, doesn't make them "lame"...Stop with the elitist attitude...Your not the "best", you never will be...Get over it...
And as for the rest of you...Web design doesn't come easy to most of us...Not all of us can be masterful artists...Frontpage is popular for a reason...It makes your life easier if you don't want to do things the hard way...Just because someone uses a WYSIWYG editor, doesn't make them "lame"...Stop with the elitist attitude...Your not the "best", you never will be...Get over it...

i know its a crappy server, its gonna be moved. i made this site in less than an hour. im gonna give it some updates (majorly needed) . this isnt gonna be a replacement for a modding site, its just a personal thing.

Not too shabby so far Robby, you are trying that is what counts you can probably pick up a trial of a good HTML editor somewhere.
I myself use Macromedia Projects, to be specific Macromedia Studio MX [incudes many GREAT macromedia products]. Yes, my copy is llegaly ubtained unlike so many of teenagers programs today. I'm glad my parents own company revolves around the internet.
Anyways, the javascript in my mind isn't neccessary [the welcome, and goodbye] some may see it as a hassel. Remember though ALL sites need content, without content your site dies out, and dies out fast. Good luck.
