New ranks!
There simply isn't enough that happens to need a team devoted to working at certain time periods. It would be safe to say the majority of the users are from the United States, and the forum activity drastically decreases at night (US time). If anything it would be a simple job, and could be handled by one person.

I mean, ofcourse people get bored with the same old stuff, but I don't see how changing rank names and giving them new avatars makes the place any different... other than making it that much more difficult for people to identify who the hell anyone is. I don't know who came up with this idea.. but maybe its time to promote people who know what they're doing... not people who reported a lot of posts...

Excal, "the people who reported a lot of posts," do know what they're doing.
Hence, 1) Why they are now part of the staff, and 2) Why there are currently no open reports.
So far, I am happy with the changes. Not just because I am now a Moderator, but because change is good for the most part.
Having an active staff is healthy for a forum from what I've seen.
I, however, am still going to refer to people as Mods, JA's, and Admins.
You can do the same if it confuses you. =p

Then the report post mod was pointless. If they want to report posts, let them. It's your job as moderators to clean up those reported posts. Again, if you want to change the site and make it less "boring"... do something worthwhile (i.e. something on like the Emblems... that really changed this place a lot..). Changing rank names and giving them new avatars is pointless.. and only benefits the staff, if anyone at all.
Excal stop being a downer. You're not getting anybody anywhere by constantly saying how the staff sucks and we make bad decisions left and right. If that was the deal, nobody would come here anymore.
I'm not saying I don't take criticism, I do. Maybe if this was the real world and we were dealing with real things, I would care more about making this place as best as it possibly can be. Then again, this isn't the real world,

This is simply a forum dedicated to the creation and distribution of mods for a game. I know I said we should brighten this place up and make it less boring, which is totally fine, but we're not going to install 50 different things like a disco ball. It's not necessary.
And I'm sorry, but you seriously need to rethink what you're saying. The report mod was NOT pointless, and that was NOT why they were promoted. If the report mod was pointless, I guess all the staff here is pointless too so let's get rid of those. Oh yeah, let's get rid of the users too, no real point of them, they don't do anything important...
