A lot of the listed countries are places you couldn't exactly live now.
Antarctica? I don't think you'd be modding Halo if you were living in Antarctica. USSR? Doesn't even exist anymore, but dang do I like having a hammer and sickle emblem.

"Country" in a profile generally (As in, 99.99% of the time) refers to the country in which you currently live. I fail to see why people must abuse this simple feature. It's not a difficult concept to grasp.

I don't understand the point of it then, we already have a location ability. I guess it just makes people feel special.
