So to everyone, thanks for entering and GoodLuck in the competition!
There is no guarentee of when the results will be in but I'm hoping it will be within the week.

Intro
Hurray Hurrah! It's time for a contest! And considering I believe skinning to be one of the biggest factors behind a good mod, I thought I should have a skinning contest! Keep in mind that contest is not an official one, which of course rules out people recieinvg awards through halomods eg an avatar or a new rank name
Rules and Regulations
"So what do we have to do?" I hear you ask...Well, I thought instead of giving a theme to work off to make a skin I thought it should any theme be on a certain level. That level is no other than ascension.
So here's a list of whats what:
1) The skin must be made for Ascension
2) Only new skins will be considered...Ie no posting old skins.
3) No ripping of other peoples skins whatsoever
4) You can choose any theme you want
5) Added scenery is allowed
6) Custom sounds are allowed
7) Different Skies are allowed
8 ) New custom models are not allowed
9) No weapon mods or anything of the sort (more info as to why later)
10) External bitmaps made internal are allowed (EG skinning the Masterchief or the battle rifle)
The deadline
"When's it due?" You say? Well you guys can negociate this with me but I believe a good time for it to be due is on the 3rd of October...Giving 2 and a half weeks to make the perfect skin!
Prizes!!!
"Whats in it for me?" Well, I thought a good thing to have as first prize would be that I, ScottyGEE (:P), would make a mod out of the fine skin that you submit. Sure, once again you can negociate for a better prize (if me making a mod out of your skin isnt enough!
) and I'm sure a runners up prize is in order...Perhaps I can make you a signature congratulating you or perhaps I could do something else for you...Like teaching you how to do something that you are confused about or that is not well documented or something like that.

" Not to worry! There are already some fantastic mods out on ascension that you could grab ideas from (without the ripping) and I believe This page shows off some fine ascension levels which have completly changed the levels theme. I would also recommend going to the 7th sanctum site...It is a random name/landscape/theme generator thing that may help you on your quest for ideas.

I will be the personal judge of this contest, you can submit your skin whenever you like in this thread...Pictures aren't required because I'll be playing the skin regardless and there will be no judging by pictures from me. To remove bias, I may ask a few other skinners if they would like to help judge at the end too.
