[Skin] The Dry Oasis

Well since i wont be able to use my computer for a week I decided to release this mod now.
Description: Once was a peaceful place with a sacred water but now the water has dried up do to the warm temperature.
Everything in the map
Skinned
New Headlong Sky
Palm Trees at certain places (no collison didnt have enough time to fix but i will)
Broke Down Truck/Van (to show that people once lived here)
here some pics
Please leave feedback good or bad

the skin looks pretty

but please move those trees next time, i can see them spawning on existing weapons spawns > smg, sniper, battlerifle, shotgun.

Yeah it looks good. But like everyone said lose the trucks and don't replace weapons with trees, just add chunks to the map.

yea i did at first but then the X cordinate made some spawn underground and the truck is only there if u put warthog on map cuz i didnt think some people will like it but in a week i will fix it after i am not grounded (for my report card)

that blows. I got bad report card too. ^_^. Yess I'm not alone. LOL. I'm lucky though my parents see moding as a way for me to learn.

...I dont get grounded for report cards anymore because I learned my lesson after the 1,748,245th time...lol

theycallmechad suggestions:
#1: give the trees collision (obvious, I know)
#2: if the water dried up as you say it indeed did, make the trees look all withered and the such. It shouldn't be hard to skin the leaves to make them look that way (maybe you did? It's hard to tell from the pictures)
#3: is the superjump platform shooting out water? If so, that doesn't totally fit your theme, but I could be wrong.
#4: get rid of the truck as it doesn't really fit in the map, althogh it fits well with the theme. I think that if you leave the truck, give it a rusted paint job and put some bullet holes in it to look like the trucks I find abandoned out here in the desert.
In all, however, I really like the textures and the feel of this map. Living in a desert myself, I can say this feels much like home (except for the palm trees). Good work!

thats for the tips i will work on it after the week is over thanks (i was gonna add water but it was confusing so i said fuck that) but i will try to work on it this mod i already started one for beaver creek just a skin mod as well but i
am having trouble adding fog could someone help

ok i am not grounded (because i told my mom i would give her 5 dollars if she would not ground me she said ok) so i will try to update it but right now i am working on my beaver creek mod (something easy to do) but I am having trouble coming up with a name so i will come up with one soon and post it here
